General Settings

Time before reprint documents are deleted

Documents that are stored for reprint are automatically deleted after the storage period has elapsed. The storage period default setting is 14 days and is limited to a maximum value by your license.

To specify the storage period:

  1. Enter the number of days in the Time before reprint documents are deleted field.
  2. Click Save.

Offline Path

After the specified storage period, documents can be removed from the Transform Content Center database to an offline location.

To specify the offline location:

  1. Enter the path name in the Offline Path field.
  2. Click Save.

Enable deletion of offlined documents

This allows offlined documents to be deleted from database using the auto delete service and the TCC document deletion page.

License Timeout

The time, in minutes, that a signed-in user can remain inactive before the license assigned to that user's session times out and becomes available for another user.

Automatic sign out after license timeout

This option is enabled by default.

This terminates any session that remains inactive for the duration of the specified License Timeout period, regardless of whether the license is required for another user.

Clear this option to enable a user to keep an inactive session open beyond the timeout period, unless or until another user needs a license in order to sign in.

The current number of TCC users and maximum number of TCC users is recorded in the FS_CONFIGURATION table of the TCC database. (item names CurrentUserCount and MaxUserCount)

Note

The counts are only updated on login and on idle session refresh. The user count is not dynamically refreshed on logout.

Email from PDF plug-in on IIS

If you use a Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) Web server to host the Transform Content Center pages, select this to enable use of the email button in the Adobe reader within the View Document window. This button enables users to send by email the PDF document they are viewing.

If you select this option, you must also configure your Transform Web server to set the AllowPathInfoForScriptMappings metabase property to a value of 1. In addition, if you use a version of IIS prior to Version 6.0 and use the URLScan security tool, you must also set AllowDotInPath to a value of 1.

Note

These settings affect all Web sites hosted by the IIS server.

Single Sign-in for Windows users

Select this to enable Windows users and members of Windows groups to access Transform Content Center pages directly after entering the appropriate URL in a browser, without having first to sign in.

You must add users or groups to create Transform Content Center accounts for them before they can access Transform Content Center pages. See Managing Windows Users for more information.

The Transform Client plug-in must be installed to use single sign-in.

Runtime server for executing inbox actions

When a user selects an Inbox action, this action is implemented by a remote branch running on a specified Runtime Server.

To specify the Runtime Server:

  1. Enter the name of the Runtime Server.
  2. Click Save.

Default URL

The default URL that is used to display Transform Content Center pages. This is used, for example, in applications that redirect to a Transform Content Center page.

Unexpected results sometimes occur when the URL used to access Transform Content Center pages differs from this URL, as for example when specifying the server name as localhost or as an IP address. One such result is that when a user opens a document from a category associated with a Responder application and then selects an option specified in a Responder branch, the View Document window does not close.

Default SSL URL

The default URL used to display Transform Content Center pages when using Secure Socket Layers (SSL) access.

Method to use for sending email:

If you use the Microsoft Outlook email client, you can choose whether to send email from Transform Content Center via Microsoft Outlook or the built-in Transform Content Center email functionality in your browser.
